Optimist Club of Jasper Middle School Youth of the Month - February 2025

The Optimist Club of Jasper Youth of the Month is a monthly recognition program for students in Jasper Middle and High Schools, recognizing students from each school, for their positive outlook and contribution to the community.

The Middle School Optimist Youth of the Month for February is Jordan Wuchner.  She is the daughter of Molly Wuchner.  Jordan is an 8th Grader at Holy Trinity Catholic School.

Jordan is a member of the Jasper High School Color Guard and helps with the children’s programming at Redemption Christian Church on Sunday mornings.  She plans to continue with the Color Guard in high school and hopes to begin working as a babysitter in the near future.

The person that nominated Jordan stated that she “has a quiet wisdom, and she always has a smile and a positive attitude.  She is very involved in her Church (Redemption Christian Church).  Her Christian faith is very important to her, and it is evident by her attitude and her work ethic that she lives deeply out of that faith.  She also has supported Camp Kesem, a camp for children who lost a parent to cancer.  She may be quiet, but she is a young woman of prayer and respect for her peers, teachers, brothers, and mom.”
