Optimist Club of Jasper Middle School Youth of the Month - January 2025

The Optimist Club of Jasper Youth of the Month is a monthly recognition program for students in Jasper Middle and High Schools, recognizing students from each school, for their positive outlook and contribution to the community.

The Middle School Optimist Youth of the Month for January is Colin Bueltel. He is the son of Kelly and Ryan Bueltel. Colin is an 8th Grade Student at Jasper Middle School.  

Colin is a member of the JMS Basketball Team.  He participates in Wyldlife Club and plays baseball.  He enjoys fishing, hunting, and riding scooters with his friends.  Colin hopes to become a Physical Therapist and to have a great family.

The teacher that nominated Colin stated that he “is a wonderful young man.  He's a great student and he's kind to everyone and he's respectful. He provides a fabulous role model for the other kids--especially the boys.  He makes JMS better every day!”
