Patriotic Party at the Dubois County Museum!

Kathy and Marcia were our hosts for the Patriotic Party at the Dubois County Museum, held for the Exceptional Friends event. They shared lots of interesting facts about the history of our state and our country as we celebrate the 250th anniversary of the United States. They highlighted special exhibits at the Museum to help us understand the traditions and rich heritage of our country. They also led our group in making crafts that the pilgrims would have used - lanterns and tricorn hats, along with providing patriotic pictures for them to color. Everyone wore their red, white, and blue as we joined together to celebrate our country. We even shared red, white, and blue snacks for our refreshments. We all had fun learning and celebrating the history of our country, thanks to the great resources available at the Dubois County Museum. Special shoutout to Kathy and Marcia from the Dubois County Museum, the volunteers from Holy Trinity Builder's Club, and the Optimist Volunteers.
