Optimist Club of Jasper Middle School Youth of the Month - October 2022

The Optimist Club of Jasper Youth of the Month is a monthly recognition program for students in Jasper Middle and High Schools, recognizing students from each school, for their positive outlook and contribution to the community.

The middle school winner for October was Bairon Arroyo Ramos. Bairon is an 8th Grader at JMS and the son of Jose Arroyo and Marta Ramos. Bairon’s favorite hobby is singing. He is currently in the Performing Arts class at JMS and had a solo performance at their recent concert. He is enjoying preparing for their Christmas Concert. Bairon wants to go to college after high school to pursue his dream of being successful in whatever field he chooses. Bairon’s nominating teacher stated “He's an INCREDIBLE student. He's always pushing himself for excellence and holdshimself to high standards. He's always looking for ways to be helpful and is selflessly translating while taking on his own schoolwork.”
