Optimist Club of Jasper Middle School Youth of the Month - December 2023

The Optimist Club of Jasper Youth of the Month is a monthly recognition program for students in Jasper Middle and High Schools, recognizing students from each school, for their positive outlook and contribution to the community.

The Middle School Optimist Youth of the Month for November is Katherine Woebkenberg.  Katherine is an 8th grader at Jasper Middle School.  She is a member of the JMS Swimming and Diving Team, Track and Field Team, and Soccer team.  She also represents her homeroom on the JMS Student Council.  When Katherine is not busy with JMS activities, she enjoys hanging out with family and friends.  Katherine plans to be a doctor when she gets older.

The teacher that nominated Katherine stated that she “is a very hard-working, very pleasant, very kind, and very bright young lady.  She does what she's supposed to do when she is supposed to do it.  She is a quiet leader and makes our school a better place.”
