Optimist Club of Jasper Middle School Youth of the Month - December 2024

The Optimist Club of Jasper Youth of the Month is a monthly recognition program for students in Jasper Middle and High Schools, recognizing students from each school, for their positive outlook and contribution to the community.

The Middle School Optimist Youth of the Month for December is Reagan King. She is the daughter of Leesa and David King. Reagan is an 8th Grade Student at Jasper Middle School.  

Reagan is on the JMS Basketball, Cross Country, and Track and Field Teams.  She is a member of the JMS Student Council.  During her free time, Reagan enjoys hiking and taking walks.  She also enjoys participating in church events at Crosspoint.  Reagan would like to become a Fitness and Nutrition Coach some day.

The teacher that nominated Reagan stated that she “flies under the radar and her effort is underappreciated.  She is kind, hard-working, and focused.  She gives everything her best effort.  We need more young people like her.”
