Optimist Club of Jasper High School Youth of the Month - January 2024

The Optimist Club of Jasper Youth of the Month is a monthly recognition program for students in Jasper Middle and High Schools, recognizing students from each school, for their positive outlook and contribution to the community.

The High School Optimist Youth of the Month for January is Todd Dick. Todd is a Freshman at Jasper High School. He is the son of Chad and Carie Dick. Todd has been on the Bowling Team for Jasper through middle school and as a freshman. He will be participating at State later in February. He hopes to bowl collegiately, possibly at Trine University, while he works towards a degree in welding. The teacher that nominated Todd stated that he “is such a hard worker. He doesn't always get things the first time, but I never see that affect his attitude. He continues to strive and is always positive. He has also only ever been kind to his peers from what I can see. He's really respectful, and I can always count on him to put a smile on the faces of others.”
