Optimist Club of Jasper Middle School Youth of the Month - February 2023

The Optimist Club of Jasper Youth of the Month is a monthly recognition program for students in Jasper Middle and High Schools, recognizing students from each school, for their positive outlook and contribution to the community.

The middle school winner is Alyse Schwenk. Alyse is the daughter of Craig and Bethany Schwenk. She is an 8th Grader at Holy Trinity Catholic School. Alyse is involved in Softball, the Builder’s Club and Business Professionals of America (BPA). She is a House Leader and Student Ambassador at Holy Trinity. She enjoys

camping, hiking, and bike riding. She plans to become a Biomedical Engineer. The teacher that nominated Alyse stated "Alyse is a joy to have in class. Her positive attitude and quiet confidence are qualities she brings with her each day. She's very helpful and nice to everyone, participates in class, is comfortable working alone or in a group, has excellent grades, and seems to genuinely enjoy my American History class."
